Martin has over 22 years of experience as an investment banker in the alternative investments industry.  As a former portfolio and hedge fund manager, he has extensive experience in fundraising for investment funds and the secondary markets for hedge funds, distressed assets, private equity, real estate and gold and is a specialist in the African markets. 

He began his career as an investment banker with Société Générale (Lyxor AM) in Paris before joining the African Development Bank in charge of the Asset Allocation. He founded and presently manages Threshold Capital SA, a Swiss regulated investment advisory boutique.

Martin has an MBA in Finance (Econometrics) from Leicester University and is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics and Management at the University of Geneva in Switzerland.
